Yes we know we have been bad. We know we should have updated the blog more often in the latest days and we haven't. We are sorry about this. Thing is, sometimes you go and bump your head over hard technical problems that can get frustrating. It's part of the work and someone has to do it, but it is tiresome and gets all your energy. It is also almost impossible to explain to people in an interesting way what really is going on because, let's face it, it is simply plain boring. Fear not though, as it seems we solved a stupid bug that was disabling backfiring of the engines, plus some other graphical problems. Fine tuning of physics and graphic bugs and details is going on as scheduled. In the mean time, try to close your eyes, relax. Think of a long pitlane straight. Go back in time about 40 years... and listen. Just listen.

We are extremely happy to report that AutoSimSport has published its last issue and it features a fantastic review of Power&Glory v2.0! A couple of weeks ago, we handled to the AutoSimSport reviewers our latest beta, and they got so overwhelmed from the number of cars included to it, that it was impossible for them to write about all of them. They choose instead, to write a great article about all the techniques and research that was included in the mod, and to describe in detail just 3 cars from the mod. Here are some selected quotes:
So what are you waiting for? Head to the AutoSimSport website, download their latest issue, and start reading from page 80, now!

WYSIWYG: acronym for What You See Is What You Get So you have spent hours on the showroom section of your favorite sim, searching for the perfect car that suits you. Each amazingly detailed car, courtesy of high talented 3D&2D artists, is different from the other, not only on the skins, but often also in various features of their bodywork. For example, you liked a lot the number 2 Ferrari, but it had that ugly front brake duct, while the number 3 had a much better brake duct plus it had what it seemed a more efficient oil cooler and so you chose that instead. Proud of your choice, you find yourself on the track, against that dreadful Ferrari N.2 you didn't like... and it goes just like yours. You also drove it yourself and it was absolutely identical in performance terms... Isn't that annoying? That's what we thought too. Well in Power&Glory v2.0, what you see is what you get! You see brake ducts? your brakes will cool better. You don't see them? Good, you're gonna have maybe 1-2km/h more top speed... but then don't blame us if while braking from top speed, your front brakes fade and you end up off of the track. From different body styles that have different aerodynamic characteristics, different wheels and tires dimensions, to the presence (or lack thereof) of brake ducts, everything in Power&Glory v2.0 makes a difference to the cars' handling and performance. Choose the skin you like the most, but don't complain that the guy with that ugly car, is braking better than you!
P.S. We apologize for the lack of articles. Our team has worked quite hard in the past days to create preview version of Power&Glory v2.0 for the AutoSimSport soon to be released issue. Thank you for your understanding.
