Just a quick word to let you know that we continue working behind the scenes. The hacking attack season seems to be over, we have started beta-testing v3 cars which is a time-consuming and sometimes quite boring process, involving countless laps alone on a circuit, with regularity rather than outright speed the priority, and regularly taking readings of tyre temperature, tyre wear etc. - it is doing Luca Badoer's work rather than Felipe Massa's. Still one could think of worse ways to spend an evening ... ;)

As in v2, you will get many more versions of the original GTL cars. Quite a lot of them already have their physics and skins in an advanced beta stage, and you can expect to be treated to some screenshots and articles on these cars' evolution over the coming weeks.

Here are some shots from recent betatests at Spa. They are all Porsches, but we will start featuring other marques soon!

Of course, not everything is going to plan all the time ...

As you have probably found out by now, our blog seems to fascinate some (moderately) funny people who don't have anything useful to do in life. They have hacked our CMS sevaral times over the last weeks. We don't know what satisfaction they can possibly derive from proving that they are able to hack the website of a small mod team, but each to his own ...

We were happy to be able to provide them with their daily entertainment for a time, but eventually got fed up. This time our host has been watching, IPs were found and legal procedures have begun. Their parents will surely be delighted when the police will knock at their door.

Finally a couple of words on our work. The web hack is but a minor inconvenience for us. It does not disturb our work on the mod the slightest bit, and that's what counts. No data have been lost, and - for the attention of the hackers - no data that are critical for the mod are stored on this blog site anyway. In the worst case, we will keep you informed through the various forums.

Understandably, all Porsche drivers were decidedly unhappy with the technical upgrades introduced between qualifying and race day. It was decided to call together the team for additional testing at Spa. Our dedicated reporters will do what they can to get a few pictures and to extract valuable information from test drivers with generous offers of Belgian beer - so stay tuned for more news and some pictures next week!
